Spring 2017 Coaching Staff
Varsity Head Coach
Drew Artin has been a part of the Pennsbury coaching staff since 2014 where he served as the Varsity Assistant Coach and Offensive Coordinator. He was named the Head Coach following his first season with the program.
Drew’s playing experience includes Notre Dame High School (‘07), a stint at Division III DeSale’s University before transferring to University of Mississippi (’11). At U of M, Drew served as team captain for two seasons as midfielder competing at MCLA Division I level. In 2011, he graduated with a degree in Education. He continued his lacrosse career as a coach serving as Division II Adam State University’s Offensive Coordinator in 2012. The 2012 season still has the most wins in program history and saw multiple players receive post season recognition.
After the season, Drew left his coaching job to pursue an opportunity to work in the Ole Miss Athletic Department. While there, Drew served as a Learning Specialist for the football and basketball team. During that time he founded the first youth lacrosse program in the state of Mississippi. He continues to work camps and clinics and heads the summer league and tournament teams as the Arrowhead U19 Head Coach. In 2015, Drew served as a Head Coach for the NXT Boy’s Philly Showcase team and the NXT Philly Showcase All Star team. He still plays in various men’s leagues and coaches Arrowhead lacrosse teams during the offseason.
Drew hopes to instill a love for the sport that he began playing in 1998 with Lower Bucks Lacrosse. His goal is to make Pennsbury a traditionally competitive program while instilling character values that these young men can carry with them long after their playing careers are over.
